When a movement judgment part (105) judges that the mobile object is in a movement standby state according to the information on the mobile object and a function judgment part (106) judges that a function part (101) is operating, a control part (107) controls the function part (101) judged to be in operation to keep the operation of the function part (101). Next, when an elapsed-time detection part (108) detects the elapse of a predetermined time or longer from the moment of starting the control, an informing part (109) informs a user of the elapse of the predetermined time or longer. Then, a power supply control part (110) turns off the power supply of the navigation system (100).
