Abstract
The invention relates to a fuel cell device, comprising an anode gas supply arrangement 2 having an anode gas inlet 13 into an anode compartment 6 of a fuel cell stack 1 consisting of a plurality of fuel cells and comprising a cathode gas supply arrangement 4 having a cathode gas inlet 18 into a cathode compartment 5 of the fuel cell stack 1, the anode gas supply arrangement 2 comprising an anode waste gas apparatus 3 with an anode waste gas line 20, by means of which an anode waste gas stream is connected to a cathode gas stream. The object of the invention is therefore to improve operation of the anode waste gas apparatus of a fuel cell device for the purpose of discharging and purifying the anode waste gas. The object is achieved in that the anode waste gas line 20 comprises a waste gas inlet 21 into the cathode compartment 5, the waste gas inlet 21 opening into the cathode compartment 5 downstream of the cathode gas inlet 18 and at a distance therefrom.
