Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour préparer un mandrin adapté à produire la préforme de fibre optique sans défaut, le mandrin pouvant être facilement retiré du corps poreux à la suie sans causer de défauts, tels que des vides, bulles, impuretés, une partie non affaissée dans la région médiane de la préforme ainsi produite. Ledit procédé est caractérisé en ce que le mandrin avant le début de la déposition de suie forme un corps poreux à la suie ayant un cœur et une gaine.
