Abstract

La présente invention concerne un émetteur-récepteur comprenant un premier connecteur destiné à la connexion à un port d'un noeud d'un système de traitement de données, le port étant compatible avec une première norme de signal de communications. L'émetteur-récepteur présente un second connecteur destiné à la connexion à un câble d'interconnexion compatible avec une second norme de signal de communications. Un circuit de conversion est connecté au premier connecteur et au second connecteur pour convertir des signaux de la première à la seconde norme et inversement. L'émetteur-récepteur comprend un détecteur destiné à détecter chaque cycle d'enfichage de connexion et de déconnexion du premier connecteur et du port, et une logique de commande connectée au détecteur pour augmenter la valeur de la relation avec les cycles d'enfichage détectés par le détecteur.
