Abstract

Systems and methods of analyzing and identifying optimizations in transportation networks are provided. The methods include defining a scope of analysis in a transportation network based on a variety of factors including specified attributes of areas, routes, trips, and facilities. The transportation network may be further analyzed by defining facility groupings which group facilities by a selected level of tolerance, and consolidating trips among the facilities which have been grouped together.
