Abstract
The invention relates to vehicle engineering, in particular to shock absorbing devices for a suspension and can be used in shock absorbers for motor cars, motor trucks and other engineering purposes. The inventive self-levelling shock absorber with one-direction fluid flow in relation to a shock absorber piston comprises a working cylinder provided with metering ports embodied in the lower part thereof, an external reservoir for working fluid, a rod passing through a guiding bush and a spring loaded working piston provided with metering ports and bypass valves. Said shock absorber also comprises an external control device provided with a predetermined stepless variation of transmissive capacity between the shock absorber cavities according to pressures produced in a rod end in such a way that a pressure increase in the rod end decreases the transmissive capacity of the control device, thereby increasing the shock absorber strength up to a maximum effective value. Said aim is also obtainable by that the shock absorber comprises an external heat exchanging radiator which is filled with damping fluid and is connected to an outer control unit and an external reservoir by means of pipelines.
