Abstract

An apparatus for collecting renewable energy such as wind energy or solar energy. Wind energy is collected by a unit comprising a generator powered by a fan, a collector duct in communication with a fan duct, and an ambient air inlet arranged to introduce ambient air into the fan duct downstream of the collector duct inlet.
