Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil et un procédé pour lever et démonter un conteneur de transport démontable, lequel appareil comporte un châssis et des dispositifs de guidage verticaux permettant d'aligner le palonnier avec le conteneur de transport. Des premier et second éléments poussoirs agissent sur les parois d'extrémité du conteneur pour les faire pivoter contre le plafond du conteneur, des systèmes de verrouillage retenant les parois d'extrémité en position repliée. Des parois latérales pliantes sont ensuite déformées par le poids du plafond avec l'aide du palonnier, jusqu'à ce que lesdites parois latérales occupent une position principalement horizontale entre la combinaison plafond/paroi d'extrémité et un plancher du conteneur de transport, formant ainsi une configuration compacte. Le palonnier déplie le conteneur en suivant les étapes susmentionnées dans un ordre inverse.
