Abstract

Procédé de préparation d'un polymère (méth)acrylique comprenant au moins une séquence S comprenant majoritairement au moins un monomère (méth)acrylique M à l'aide d'un complexe du titane de formule (I) activé par au moins un cocatalyseur: caractérisé en ce que la séquence S est obtenue à une température de polymérisation >40°C, avantageusement >60°C, de préférence >100°C. L'invention est aussi relative au procédé de fabrication d'une plaque de PMMA par le procédé coulé consistant à : introduire dans un moule une composition à polymériser comprenant le MAM et éventuellement au moins un comonomère copolymérisable avec le MAM, ainsi que le complexe de titane activé; puis à placer le moule dans une enceinte calorifugée; et une fois la polymérisation terminée, on retire du moule la plaque de PMMA.
