Abstract

Methods, systems, and computer program products for reconstructing a historical record are described including techniques to reconstruct a record corresponding to a purchased ticket and techniques managing ticket changes. Techniques for providing new pricing solutions to satisfy changes to a purchased ticket are described. Techniques for determining whether or not changes to the purchased ticket affect existing bookings of the married flight segments to determine whether a replacement ticket is constructed to include the married flight segments of the purchased ticket using the existing booked inventory or whether a replacement ticket needs to be constructed using current availability information. A reissue method applicable to partial pricing solutions selected from a plurality of partial pricing solutions is determined and are combined to form a larger partial pricing solution or a reissued ticket according to specifications of the reissue method.
