Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de communication d'émissions de balises à partir d'un point d'accès sans fil (WAP) à un émetteur-récepteur client dans un système (500) de réseau local sans fil (WLAN), qui consiste notamment à obtenir une synchronisation de référence pour le point d'accès sans fil (WAP) (502). La configuration du secteur et sa synchronisation dans le WAP sont ensuite déterminées (503). Un moment d'émission de balise cible virtuel (TBTT) pour le secteur d'intérêt desservi par le WAP est ensuite calculé (506), tout comme un nombre de canaux du secteur d'intérêt. Enfin, le procédé prévoir l'écoute (507) d'un signal de balise de secteur provenant du secteur d'intérêt au TBTT virtuel et du nombre de canaux calculé.
