[32] Hereinafter, preferred embodiment of goods exchange service system and method
according to the present invention is described referring to attached figures.
[33] FIG. 1 is a goods exchange system according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention.
[34] Referring to FIG. 1, the goods exchange system according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a web server 100, a matching operation server 102, a goods item database 104 and a user database 106.
[35] The web server generates 100 web pages necessary for goods exchange and provides the web pages to a user client 110. The web server 100 receives request information that user sends using interface of the web pages and processes the request information.
[36] The web server generates various web pages including a web page through which users can upload goods for goods exchange, a web page through which user can examine information on uploaded goods, and a web page through which user can search uploaded goods and provides generated web pages to the user client 110.
[37] The user client 110 performs communication with the web server 100 through network. The network may include various network including the Internet, a private network, a mobile network and WLAN, etc.
[38] Further, the user client 110 may be any kind of device that can perform communication through network and operate application such as web-browser including a PC, a notebook, PDA(Personal Digital Assistant) and a mobile terminal, etc.
[39] In, conventional web service for goods exchange, users upload goods item to exchange and web page for goods item is provided to users. In conventional web service, users can just check uploaded goods, it was hard to accomplish exchange substantially.
[40] In conventional goods exchange service, information on uploaded goods was provided to users in the form of web board. Therefore, users had to check each of the postings of web board one by one in order to search goods to exchange.
[41] Unlike electronic commerce where payment is performed with money, goods exchange can be accomplished when goods for exchange are matched. For example, when user A would like to exchange a TV for a video, the goods exchange can be accomplished when user A can find B who would like to exchange a video for a TV.
[42] However, it was hard to find user B who wants goods that user A uploaded and uploads goods that user A wants because goods information was provided in the form of web board. Although text search function was provided in goods exchange service, it took long time to find user matched using the text search.
[43] Further, in conventional goods exchange service, the exchange was generally accomplished by user's personal communication. When a user finds a matched user, the user accomplishes exchange through the communication with the matched user by
