Abstract

The stator for rotary electric machine comprises a body (4) equipped with notches for mounting a stator winding (51) forming an outer coil respectively in front (5) and in back (53) of each axial extremity of the body (4), at least one of the coils (5) being fashioned to provide a first section for a grounding (500) in the body (4) of the stator (50), extended by a second outer section (501) that is compact in order to give a flared shape to its inner periphery. The rotary electric machine comprises said stator. Use: Stator for alternator, alternator-starter, or electromagnetic retarder.
