Abstract
L'invention concerne un piégeur d'oxygène capable d'absorber et d'éliminer l'oxygène dans l'atmosphère, qui est constitué d'un oxyde inorganique ayant des sites d'absorption d'oxygène déficients en oxygène et dans lequel au moins une partie des sites absorbant l'oxygène est temporairement bloquée avec un bloqueur de site (tel que du dioxyde de carbone servant de carbonyle), moyennant quoi le temps de manipulation jusqu'à l'initiation de la fonction d'absorption d'oxygène est amélioré. Le piégeur d'oxygène peut être produit de manière favorable par cuisson de réduction d'une poudre d'oxyde inorganique à 500 °C ou plus pour éliminer de manière forcée l'oxygène et former ainsi des sites absorbant l'oxygène en raison de la déficience en oxygène réversible puis en bloquant au moins une partie des sites absorbant l'oxygène avec un bloqueur de site dans un état libérable.
