Abstract
A switched reluctance motor (SR motor) control apparatus (10) comprises a current command value calculating part (51) that generates a current command value in accordance with a target output of an SR motor (11); a rotational speed calculating part (53) that determines the rotational speed of the SR motor (11); a control map storing part (55) that establishes a conduction angle and a lead angle for the a conduction to the SR motor (11) in accordance with the target output and rotational speed; a current determining part (57) that determines a winding current conducted to the SR motor (11); a current control part (58) that generates a pulse width modulation signal based on a deviation between the current command value and the determination value of the winding current; and a drive apparatus (12) sequentially switches the conductions to the SR motor (11) in accordance with the conduction angle and lead angle and pulse width modulation signal. As a result, a desired target output can be appropriately obtained with the complication of apparatus structure suppressed.
