Abstract

L'invention concerne un système et un procédé permettant d'afficher une publicité conjointement avec un affichage d'une vidéo sur un écran d'ordinateur. Le système comprend au moins un serveur et un ordinateur client qui sont en communication par l'intermédiaire d'un réseau. L'ordinateur client a un écran. Le serveur est configuré pour recevoir une requête de téléchargement d'une vidéo provenant de l'ordinateur client et, en réponse, pour télécharger la vidéo et une ou plusieurs publicités sur l'ordinateur client. Lorsqu'un utilisateur amène l'ordinateur client à afficher la vidéo reçue, une ou plusieurs publicités sont affichées en superposition par rapport à une partie de la vidéo qui est affichée et à un moment prédéterminé par rapport au début de l'affichage de la vidéo. Le serveur peut en outre être configuré pour suivre les impressions et/ou clics publicitaires portant sur l'affichage d'une ou plusieurs publicités.
