Abstract

Cette invention concerne une procédure de basculement ou un mode à double programmation qui est utilisé lorsqu'un trajet de communication entre une station mobile (1) et un premier réseau de télécommunication (A) doit être remplacé par un trajet de communication entre la station mobile et un second réseau de télécommunication (B). Dans cette procédure, la station mobile continue, pendant une période de transition, à communiquer à l'aide du trajet de communication avec le premier réseau et dans des intervalles de temps entre des périodes dans lesquelles la communication avec le premier réseau est programmée, ladite station mobile effectue une signalisation avec le second réseau pour établir un trajet de communication avec le second réseau. Après avoir établi le trajet de communication avec le second réseau, la station mobile utilise à la place ce trajet de communication. Ce procédé peut donner une interruption minimale de la communication pour la station mobile. Un procédé analogue peut être utilisé également lorsque la station mobile nécessite uniquement une certaine signalisation avec le second réseau.
