Abstract

Provided is an air conditioner having a function for automatically reporting information on a consumption ratio of an item associated with energy consumption and a function for automatically changing the operation state according to the consumption ratio. When a target value of electricity charge within a predetermined period is set, the consumption ratio of the electricity charge is automatically reported if the consumption ratio of the electricity charge within the predetermined period has reached 50% of the target value. After this, each time the consumption ratio of the electricity charge increases by 10%, the consumption ratio of the electricity charge is automatically reported and the temperature set in the air conditioner for a room temperature is changed. When the consumption ratio of the electricity charge has reached 100% of the target value, the consumption ratio of the electricity charge is automatically reported and the operation of the air conditioner is stopped.
