Abstract
A granular body tissue substitute material with a high packing efficiency is produced simply in good yield by a few steps. A method for producing a body tissue substitute material comprising the steps of: presintering calcium phosphate powder; mixing the presintered powder obtained by this presintering with a binding material; forming the mixed presintered powder and binding material into a particle with a substantially spherical shape; and sintering the formed particle with a substantially spherical shape is provided.
