Abstract

　三次元形状モデル情報群に含まれないモデル化対象物であっても、モデル化対象物に固有の形状的特徴を反映させた精緻な三次元形状モデルを確実に生成することができる三次元形状モデル生成装置、三次元形状モデル生成方法、コンピュータプログラム、及び三次元形状モデル生成システムを提供する。複数のモデル化対象物の三次元形状データに基づいて、該モデル化対象物の一群の三次元形状モデル情報を生成する。生成された三次元形状モデル情報を多変量解析して複数の特徴量を抽出する。抽出された複数の特徴量を記憶し、特徴量の値に基づいて所定の一群に属する三次元形状モデル情報を生成する。多変量解析の対象外であるモデル化対象物の三次元形状データの入力を受け付けた場合、該三次元形状データに基づいて三次元形状モデル情報を生成し、三次元形状モデル情報に対応する複数の特徴量の値を推定する。
