Abstract
L'invention concerne un matériau composite qui a des propriétés anti-bactériennes appropriées pour l'utilisation dans des implants biologiques, etc. ; un élément anti-bactérien à base de titane ou non à base de titane revêtu d'un titanate qui comprend un substrat à base de titane ou un substrat inorganique non à base de titane, une couche de titanate alcalin cristallin formée sur le substrat, et une couche de titanate d'argent, le composant alcalin du titanate alcalin tel que décrit ci-dessus ayant été substitué par un ion argent. Cet élément anti-bactérien est produit par les opérations consistant à : (i) soumettre à un hydrothermale le substrat dans une solution alcaline aqueuse à une température de 110 à 180°C, (ii) chauffer le produit ayant subi le traitement hydrothermal à 200 à 700°C, et (iii) après lavage et séchage du produit chauffé, le plonger dans une solution aqueuse contenant des ions argent.
