Abstract

 本発明は、硫酸イオンを含有する塩基性アミノ酸発酵液からの、製品収量及び品質が従来技術におけるとほぼ同等であって、しかもより簡便な塩基性アミノ酸塩酸塩の分離取得方法を提供することを目的とする。本発明は、硫酸イオンを含有する塩基性アミノ酸発酵液または塩基性アミノ酸産生微生物の生菌体を触媒とする酵素反応液から塩基性アミノ酸の塩酸塩結晶を取得する方法であって、(1)硫酸イオンを含有する塩基性アミノ酸発酵液または酵素反応液に、カルシウム、カリウム、マグネシウムおよびバリウムからなる群より選択される金属の塩化物を添加して該硫酸イオンを該金属の硫酸塩結晶として析出させ、(2)該塩基性アミノ酸溶液から該金属の硫酸塩結晶を除去し、(3)該金属の硫酸塩結晶を除去した塩基性アミノ酸溶液を、該金属の硫酸塩の飽和溶解度以下に維持しつつ冷却して塩基性アミノ酸をその塩酸塩結晶として析出させ、(4)該塩基性アミノ酸結晶を分離し採取すること、を特徴とする方法を提供する。
