Description

Description A DISPENSER CONTAINER PROVIDED WITH AN APPLIER
Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates, in general, to dispenser containers and, more particularly, to a dispenser container having an applicator which makes it possible for a user to directly apply contents, such as cosmetics, discharged from the dispenser container, to a desired region, for example, his/her face. Background Art
[2] Generally, liquid type or gel type cosmetics are contained in dispenser containers and are supplied from them to desired regions. Typically, when it is desired to use a cosmetic contained in such a dispenser container, a user puts an appropriate amount of cosmetic on his/her hand and applies the cosmetic to his/her face using the hand. However, as such, in the case where the cosmetic is applied to the face of the user after it is put on his/her hand, some of the cosmetic is absorbed into the hand, which is not the desired region. In other words, some of the discharged cosmetic is undesirably absorbed into the hand, and only the remaining cosmetic is applied to the desired region, thus resulting in a loss of cosmetic. Essential oils or eye creams are particularly expensive, and are sold in small quantities. Therefore, in the case of such expensive cosmetics, economic loss resulting from unnecessary absorption onto the hand during the process of applying it to the face is very high, compared to general cosmetics.
[3] Meanwhile, in an effort to overcome the above problems experienced in the conventional arts, a dispenser container having a mechanical pencil type structure such that a predetermined amount of cosmetic is discharged through the lower end of the container by pushing the upper end of the container was proposed in Korean Utility Model Registration No. 363576, which was filed by the inventor of the present invention. This technique has an advantage in that a cosmetic can be directly discharged onto a desired region. However, this technique still has a problem in that some of the cosmetic is unnecessarily absorbed onto the hand, because the user must rub the cosmetic that is discharged onto the desired region using the hand to evenly spread it on the desired region.
Disclosure of Invention
Technical Problem
[4] Accordingly, the present invention has been made keeping in mind the above problems occurring in the prior art, and an object of the present invention is to provide a dispenser container which makes it possible for a user to evenly apply cosmetic to his/her skin, for example, his/her face, without touching the cosmetic with his/her hand.
Technical Solution
[5] In order to accomplish the above object, the present invention provides a dispenser container having an applicator, such as a ball or a brash, which is provided in the part of the container through which contents, that is, a cosmetic, are discharged, thus making it possible for a user to apply the cosmetic to his/her skin, for example, the face, without touching the cosmetic with his/her hand. Advantageous Effects
[6] According to the dispenser container of the present invention, because a user can put on makeup without touching the cosmetic with his/her hand, it is very convenient to use, and cosmetic is prevented from being undesirably absorbed into the hand, thus preventing the cosmetic from being wasted. In addition, a massage effect is expected. Brief Description of the Drawings

Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[13] The present invention provides a dispenser container having a mechanical pencil type structure, including: a casing 10 having a cylindrical shape, the casing 10 being open at opposite ends thereof, a conical cap 20 coupled to a lower end of the casing 10, with a nozzle 22 formed at a central portion in the conical cap 20, and a storage tank 40 provided in the casing 10 to store contents therein, with a dispenser 30 provided in a lower end of the storage tank 40 to discharge the contents, the dispenser 30 having therein a content discharge passage connected to the nozzle 22, so that, when an upper end of the storage tank 40 is pushed, the dispenser 30 is pumped, thus discharging the contents through the nozzle 22, wherein an applicator 50 is provided ahead of the nozzle 22 in the cap 20, so that the contents, which are discharged through the nozzle 22, are applied to a skin of a user through the applicator 50.
[14] Preferably, a ball insertion seat 24 having a recess shape may be formed in a lower surface of the cap 20 around the nozzle 22, and the applicator 50 may be comprise a ball, which is rotatably seated into the ball insertion seat 24.
[15] Furthermore, a plurality of content discharge slots 25 may be formed in a radial arrangement in the ball insertion seat 24. The content discharge slots 25 may be connected at proximal ends thereof to the nozzle 22.
[16] Moreover, an insert hole 27 may be formed in a lower surface of the cap 20 around the nozzle 22, and the applicator 50 may comprise a brush, a proximal end of which is fitted into the insert hole 27. Mode for the Invention
[17] Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.
[18] As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, a dispenser container according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a casing 10, which has a cylindrical shape which is open at opposite ends thereof, a conical cap 20, which is provided on the lower end of the casing 10 and has a nozzle 22 at a central portion thereof, and a storage tank 40, which is provided in the casing 10 and stores contents, such as a cosmetic, therein. Furthermore, a dispenser 30 for discharging the cosmetic is provided in the lower end of the storage tank 40. A discharge passage, which is defined in the dispenser 30 to discharge the cosmetic, is connected to the nozzle 22. Thus, when the upper end of the storage tank 40 is pushed, the dispenser 30 is pumped, so that the cosmetic is discharged through the nozzle 22.
[19] In detail, the casing 10 has the shape of a slim cylinder, which is open at opposite ends thereof. The conical cap 20 is coupled to the lower end of the casing 10. The nozzle 20 is longitudinally formed at the central portion in the cap 20. Furthermore, a ball insertion seat 24, which has an approximately hemispherical recess shape, is formed in the lower end of the cap 20 around the nozzle 22.
[20] The storage tank 40, which stores the cosmetic therein, is provided in the casing 10.
The storage tank 40 also has a slim cylindrical shape which is open at opposite ends thereof. The dispenser 30 for discharging cosmetic is provided in the lower end of the storage tank 40. In addition, a button 44 is provided in the upper end of the storage tank such that the button 44 is exposed outside the casing 10. As necessary, the storage tank 40 may have a shape such that the upper end thereof is closed and protrudes into the casing 10. The dispenser 30 includes a housing 32, which is coupled to the lower end of the storage tank 40 and has an inlet 31 for drawing a cosmetic into the housing 32, and a check valve 33, which openably closes the inlet 31. The dispenser 30 further includes a piston 34, which is provided in the housing 32 such that it can repeatedly conduct the pumping operation using a spring 37, and a pumping stem 36, which is coupled to the piston 34 and protrudes outside the housing 32. As such, the dispenser 30 has the same construction as that of a typical dispenser, in which the discharge passage for discharging a cosmetic is opened by the pumping operation of the piston 34, so that an appropriate amount of cosmetic is discharged.
[21] The lower end of the dispenser 30, in other words, the pumping stem 36, is connected to the cap 20, such that the cosmetic discharge passage is connected to the nozzle 22. Furthermore, a boss 21, which protrudes upwards, is provided in the cap 20 around the nozzle 22. The lower end of the pumping stem 38 is fitted into the boss 21.
[22] Therefore, when the button 44 of the storage tank 40, which is exposed outside the upper end of the casing 10, is pushed, the storage tank 40 and the housing 32 of the dispenser 30 are moved downwards both with respect to the cap 20, which is fastened to the casing 10, and with respect to the pumping stem 36, which is coupled to the cap 20. Thereby, the dispenser 30 is pumped, so that the cosmetic discharge passage is opened, thus discharging the cosmetic. When the force that pushed the button 44 is removed, the housing 32 of the dispenser 30 and the storage tank 40 are moved upwards by the elastic force of the spring 37, thus entering a state in which the dispenser can repeatedly conduct the pumping operation. Preferably, as shown in the drawings, a longitudinal guide groove 12 is formed in the circumferential inner surface of the upper end of the casing 10. A guide protrusion 42, which is inserted into the guide groove 12, is formed on the circumferential outer surface of the upper end of the storage tank 40. Thus, thanks to the engagement between the guide groove 12 and the guide protrusion 42, the storage tank 40 is prevented from being undesirably removed from the casing 10, and the distance that the storage tank 40 moves in a longitudinal direction is limited within a predetermined range.
[23] Meanwhile, an applicator 50 having a ball shape is rotatably seated into the ball insertion seat 24, which is formed in the cap 20. Therefore, when the container is moved in a state in which the ball type applicator 50 contacts the face of a user, the ball type applicator 50 is freely rotated in the ball insertion seat 24. Preferably, the applicator 50 is made of plastic, metal or ceramic.
[24] The operation of the present invention, having the above-mentioned construction, will be explained herein below. The user holds the casing 10 of the dispenser container using his/her hand and moves the dispenser container such that the applicator 50 is adjacent to the region of the skin of the user to which contents, that is, the cosmetic, are to be applied. Thereafter, the user pushes the button 44 of the storage tank 40 using the thumb. As shown in FIG. 3, when the button 44 of the storage tank 40 is pushed, the storage tank 40 is moved downwards. Then, the dispenser 30 is pumped, so that the cosmetic is discharged.
[25] As such, the cosmetic is discharged outside through the nozzle 22 of the cap 20 by the pumping operation of the dispenser 30. Here, the cosmetic, which is discharged through the nozzle 22, is applied to the circumferential outer surface of the ball type applicator 50. Therefore, when the user rubs his/her face with the applicator 50 in the state in which the button 44 is pushed by the user, the applicator 50 is rotated and cosmetic that has been transferred to the applicator 50 is smeared on the skin of the user.
[26] FIG. 4 illustrates another embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, content discharge slots 25 are formed in the ball insertion seat 24. Each content discharge slot 25 extends a predetermined length in a radial direction, and proximal ends of the content discharge slots 25 are connected to the nozzle 22. Therefore, contents, which are discharged through the nozzle 22, flow downwards through the content discharge slots 25.
[27] As stated above, when the dispenser 30 is pumped and the applicator 50 is rubbed on the face of the user, because the applicator 50 is compressed upwards, so that the end of the nozzle 22 may be closed, cosmetic may not be smoothly discharged. However, as shown in FIG. 4, in the case where the content discharge slots 25 are formed, even though the applicator 50 is compressed to the nozzle 22, cosmetic can be smoothly discharged through the content discharge slots 25. Preferably, the content discharge slots 25 are formed such that distal ends thereof are not exposed outside. The reason for this is that, if the distal ends of the content discharge slots 25 are exposed outside, because cosmetic flows directly onto the skin of the user without first being transferred to the applicator 50, cosmetic may be unevenly applied.
[28] In the drawings, reference numeral 38 denotes a spring, which is provided around the pumping stem 36. As such, in the case where the additional spring 38 is provided around the pumping stem 36, the storage tank 40 can be elastically returned to its original position more smoothly. Thus, there is an advantage in that the pumping operation of the dispenser 30 can be conducted more smoothly. Meanwhile, although the spring 37 has been illustrated as being provided in the dispenser 30, in the case where the spring is provided in the dispenser 30, there is the possibility of rust forming on the spring due to contact with the cosmetic. To avoid this problem, the spring 38 may be provided around only the pumping stem 36, omitting the spring in the dispenser 30. Furthermore, reference numeral 45 denotes a piston, which is provided in the storage tank 40, and reference numeral 60 denotes an external cap.
[29] FIGS. 5 and 6 are sectional views showing a further embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, an applicator 50 comprises a brush. An insert hole 27 for insertion of the applicator 50, that is, the brush, is formed in the lower end of a cap 20 around a nozzle 22. Furthermore, a perimeter part of the proximal end of the applicator 50 protrudes upwards, so that the applicator 50 is coupled to the cap 20 by fitting the perimeter part thereof into the insert hole 27. [30] In this embodiment, in which the brash serves as the applicator, a cosmetic is discharged through the same process as that of the prior embodiments. The user can evenly apply the cosmetic to his/her face using the applicator 50, that is, the brash. Industrial Applicability
[31] As described above, the present invention provides a dispenser container which has an applicator 50 to realize an improved mechanical pencil type structure such that, while contents, that is, a cosmetic, is directly discharged onto a desired region of the skin of a user, the user can evenly apply the cosmetic to the skin using the applicator 50. Therefore, because it is not necessary for the user to spread a cosmetic that has been applied to the skin using his/her hand, the entire process of putting cosmetic on the skin is convenient for the user. Particularly, the present invention prevents some of the cosmetic from being undesirably absorbed into the hand, thus reducing the loss of cosmetic.
[32] Furthermore, in the case where the applicator 50 comprises a ball, which is rotatably provided in a cap 20 ahead of a nozzle 20, a skin massage effect using the applicator 50 is expected. Therefore, a separate massage using the hand is not required. In addition, because the process of putting cosmetic on the skin and the massage process can be conducted at the same time, absorption of cosmetic is promoted, and the effects of the cosmetic are enhanced. As well, in the case where content discharge slots 25 are formed in a ball insert seat 24, into which the ball type applicator 50 is seated, because cosmetic, which is discharged through the nozzle 22, flows downwards through the content discharge slots 25, there is an advantage in that the nozzle 22 is prevented from being blocked by the applicator 50, so that a problem in which cosmetic is not smoothly discharged is solved.
[33] Moreover, in the case where the applicator 50 comprises a brush, cosmetic can be applied to the skin more evenly and thinly. Furthermore, cosmetic can be applied to the skin, particularly, around the eyes or to the lips, more precisely.
