Description

AUXILIARY FOOT PROP FOR PLAYING THE PIANO
Technical Field The present invention relates to an auxiliary foot prop for playing the piano, and more particularly, to an auxiliary foot prop for playing the piano, which supports the feet of an infant or a small person, and thus enables the infant or small person to play the piano at a stabilized posture, in the case that the feet do not reach the bottom, since height of the infant or small person is small in comparison with height of a piano chair when educating piano for the infant or small person.
Background Art A good posture when playing the piano, means a pose that unfolds waist straightly, loses force from the shoulder, spreads the feet as many as the width of the shoulder and puts down the legs trimly on the floor.
The good posture at the piano performance enables an excellent piano performance. Accordingly, it is not too excessive to emphasize that it is important to educate to play the piano at a good posture from the infant time.
However, because piano keys are set at a certain height from the floor, the infant or small person cannot but sit on a piano chair in order to set the hands to the piano keys. In this case, the infant or small person is at an unstable posture because the feet do not reach the bottom.
In the case that the infant or small person plays the piano, an article which is fit in the infant ' s or small person ' s feet height is temporarily put on the floor to make the feet put on the article. In this case, the article does not match the infant's or small person's feet height and width. As a result, the infant or small person cannot play the piano at the right posture.
Disclosure of the Invention
It is an object of the present invention to provide an auxiliary foot prop for playing the piano which can support the infant's or small person's feet stably in order to solve inconveniences of the infant or small person in the case that the feet do not reach the bottom, since height of the infant or small person is small in comparison with height of a piano chair when educating piano for the infant or small person.
It is another object of the present invention to provide an auxiliary foot prop for playing the piano, in which height of the auxiliary foot prop can be adjusted depending on the speed in growth of the infant or small person.
To accomplish the above object of the present invention, there is provided an auxiliary foot prop for playing the piano, the auxiliary foot prop comprising: an upper plate which is formed of a certain length and width, to thereby stably support the infant's or small person's feet; an unevenness portion which is formed to prevent skidding over the upper plate; side plates which are extensively formed downwards to have a given height from the edge of the upper plate; a cutoff region which is respectively formed on a pair of opposing side plates among the side plates so that a piano pedal can be inserted inwards; and anti-skid rubber pieces which are attached at the rim of the bottom of the side plates to prevent skidding.
Preferably but not necessarily, ledges are formed along the rim of the upper plate so as to be coupled in an interference fit with the inner bottom of the side plates of another auxiliary foot prop to stack two or more auxiliary foot props. , -j Preferably but not necessarily, the auxiliary foot prop whose width is decreased upwards in a pyramid shape, in which an auxiliary foot prop which is positioned over another is smaller in width than the other which is positioned under the one.

Best Mode for Carrying out the Invention
Hereinbelow, auxiliary foot props for playing the piano according to preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. Like reference numerals are assigned for like elements in the drawings.
As illustrated in FIG. 1, a auxiliary foot prop for playing the piano 10 according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an upper plate 11 which is formed of a flat plate having a certain length and width, to thereby stably support the infant's or small person's feet, and side plates 13 which are extensively formed downwards to have a given height from the edge of the upper plate 11, in order to solve inconveniences that the infant or small person plays the piano at an unstable posture that the feet do not reach the bottom of the floor when playing the piano. Here, the upper plate 11 may be formed in a circular form.
However, it is more preferable that the upper plate 11 may be formed in a rectangular form. An unevenness portion 12 is formed on the upper plate 11 to prevent the feet from skidding over the upper plate 11.
The unevenness portion 12 is not limited to a lattice form as shown in the drawings, but may be fabricated in a picture or letter form.
Side plates 13 are extensively formed downwards to have a given height from the edge of the upper plate 11. Here, a cutoff region
14 is respectively formed on a pair of opposing side plates among the side plates 13 so that a piano pedal 17 can be inserted inwards.
Anti-skid rubber pieces 15 are attached at the rim of the bottom of the side plates 13 to enhance a frictional force with;,the floor to prevent skidding over the floor. Accordingly, the auxiliary foot prop 10 for playing the piano can kept at a stabilized state without sliding easily on the floor.
Meanwhile, FIGS. 2 to 4 show auxiliary foot props 10 for playing the piano 10 according to another embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, two or more auxiliary foot props are stacked in the form of a long horse or vaulting board.
That is, ledges 16 are formed along the rim of the upper plate 11 of the auxiliary foot prop 10. Accordingly, two or more auxiliary foot props 10 are stacked over each other. For example, one auxiliary foot prop 10 is put on the floor and then another auxiliary foot prop 10 is stacked on the one auxiliary foot prop 10. In more detail, the ledges 16 formed long the rim of the upper plate 11 of the auxiliary foot prop 10 are coupled in an interference fit with the inner bottom of the side plates 13 of another auxiliary foot prop 10.
Meanwhile, when stacking auxiliary foot props 10 for playing the piano, the number of stories is most suitably three. In order to have structurally a stabilized structure, the auxiliary foot prop 10 for playing the piano which is positioned at the lowest place is fabricated a little greater in width than the others. As it^goes up to the upper position, the auxiliary foot prop 10 for playing the piano is fabricated gradually smaller in width than the others, to form a pyramid shape.
In addition, it is preferable that quality of the material of the auxiliary foot prop 10 for playing the piano according to the present invention is made of a plastic material which is lighter and stronger than a heavy wooden or metallic material.
As described above, the auxiliary foot prop 10 for playing the piano according to the present invention supports the feet of the infant or small person who plays the piano, to thus enable him or her to play the piano at a stable posture. The function of the auxiliary foot prop according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
In the case that the infant or small person sits on a piano chair higher than the height of the infant or small person in order to play the piano, the feet do not touch the floor to thus cause an unstable posture that the feet hang in the air.
Here, as shown in FIG. 5, an auxiliary foot prop 10 or auxiliary foot props 10 are put on the floor to support the feet of the infant or small person. Accordingly, the unstable posture that the feet hang in the air is changed into a stable posture that the feet is supported by the auxiliary foot prop 10 or the auxiliary foot props 10. As a result, the infant or small person can play the piano at a good posture without deformation of hand shape and body posture. Further, since the auxiliary foot props for playing the piano are fabricated depending on height of the infant ' s or small person ' s feet when the infant or small person sits on a piano chair, the infant or small person can play the piano at a comfortable or stabilized posture without feeling inconvenient. A cutoff region 14 is respectively formed on a pair of opposing side plates among the side plates 13 so that a piano pedal 17 can be inserted inwards. Accordingly, the auxiliary foot prop 10 can be easily positioned without having no difficulty of installing the auxiliary foot prop due to interference by the piano pedal 17. In addition, the unevenness portion 12 is formed on the upper plate 11 to thereby prevent the infant ' s or small person ' s feet from skidding at piano performance. Thus, the infant or small person can enthuse only in piano performance. Meanwhile, the anti-skid rubber pieces 15 are attached at the rim of the bottom of the side plates 13 to prevent skidding by heightening a frictional force with the floor. Accordingly, since the auxiliary foot prop 10 does not move, the infant or small person can play the piano at a good posture .
Also, as shown in FIG. 5, the auxiliary foot props 10 can be removed one by one depending on the infant's or small person's height .
For example, in the case that a piano player is a 4-year-old infant, the stacked auxiliary foot props 10 combined into three stories are used. However, the auxiliary foot props 10 can be removed one by one according to infant's growth as a 5-year-old or
6-year-old infant .
Meanwhile, the auxiliary foot props 10 for playing the piano according to the present invention, are not easily disassembled in a firm coupling structure that ledges 16 of the upper plate 11 are formed along the rim of the upper plate 11 so as to be coupled in an interference fit with the inner bottom of the side plates 13 of another auxiliary foot prop to stack two or more auxiliary foot props . Accordingly, the auxiliary foot prop according to the present invention can be applied to a multipurpose playing instrument such as a long horse or vaulting board, and an award ceremony stage, as well as a piano auxiliary foot prop in order to support the infant's or small person's feet.
As described above, the auxiliary foot prop for playing the piano according to the present invention has the following effects. 1. An auxiliary foot prop for playing the piano according to the present invention can support the infant's or small person's feet stably in order to solve inconveniences of the infant or small person in the case that the feet do not reach the bottom, since height of the infant or small person is small in comparison with height of a piano chair when educating piano for the infant or small person. Accordingly, the infant or the small person can play the piano at a right and stable posture.
2. The auxiliary foot prop or props may be removed depending on an infant's body growth rate. Accordingly, the height of the auxiliary foot props can be adjusted.
3. The auxiliary foot prop or props may be kept in size .under the piano chair. Accordingly, the auxiliary foot prop or props can be kept in custody simply at a fine view and without requiring a special place of storage. 4. The auxiliary foot prop or props may be applied to a multipurpose playing instrument such as a long horse or vaulting board, and an award ceremony stage, as well as a piano auxiliary foot prop in order to support the infant's or small person's feet.
As described above, the present invention has been described with respect to particularly preferred embodiments. However, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments, and it is possible for one who has an ordinary skill in the art to make various modifications and variations, without departing off the spirit of the present invention. Thus, the protective scope of the present invention is not defined within the detailed description thereof but is defined by the claims to be described later and the technical spirit of the present invention.
Industrial Applicability As described above, the present invention provides an auxiliary foot prop or auxiliary foot props for playing the piano, whose height can be adjusted by removing one or more auxiliary foot props, depending on an infant's body growth rate. The auxiliary foot prop or props may be applied to a multipurpose playing instrument such as a long horse or vaulting board, and an raward ceremony stage, as well as a piano auxiliary foot prop in order to support the infant's or small person's feet.
