OBJETO DE LA INVENCIÓNOBJECT OF THE INVENTION

Perfeccionamientos en los aparatos para electroterapia.Improvements in electrotherapy devices.

CAMPO DE LA INVENCIÓNFIELD OF THE INVENTION

ANTECEDENTES DE LA INVENCIÓNThese electrotherapy devices are mainly intended for the treatment of body parts affected by neoplasms and other phenomena caused by abnormal cell growth, however it is also applicable to pain treatments, rehabilitation, traumatology and sports medicine, and also in the specialty of aesthetics and aesthetic medicine. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

In the current state of the art, various types of electrotherapy devices are known to produce hyperthermia effects, that is to say, local heating of the cellular tissues of certain parts of the body, affected by neoplasms or other ailments, based on these devices in the application of high frequency currents.

One of the known devices causes hyperthermia by means of a neutral or return electrode and an active application, both uncoated metal, in this case the body acts as a resistive element. The active electrode is smaller than the return electrode. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The object of this invention is to obtain a significant advance in body treatments and Facials made with resistive electrotherapy devices, also obtaining a perfect adaptation of the active body to irregular surface anatomical areas such as shoulders, knees, elbows, feet and others, and with a more pleasant touch for the subject to the treatment.

For this, it is characteristic that the action on the area to be treated by the person receiving the treatment is carried out by means of an active body sufficiently conductive, flexible and soft, that receives the electric current from an adapter to which it is fixed and that is connected to the device

The human body is a semiconductor so it is advantageous that the indicated active body is constituted by the hand of the person carrying out the treatment, the hand acting as an active electrode.

The application of the treatment by hand also offers other outstanding advantages: the potential risk to burn a person undergoing treatment is completely avoided since the hand of the specialist or the person performing the treatment is always at a temperature something higher than the person receiving treatment.

The fact that the specialist's hand acts as a "temperature limiter" allows the treatment to be applied safely to: - Patients of young age or who cannot express the sensation of temperature. Skin areas with little or reduced sensitivity, such as scars, burned areas, areas insensitive to brain problems and others. Patients without awareness or with a significant decrease in it.

In addition, the sensation of human touch is much more pleasant than that of a metal electrode.

All these improvements, together with the safety of the means used in the invention towards the specialist and towards the person receiving the treatment, determine an important step for the application of the resistive system apparatus, the treatment being able to be applied to people who until the At this time they could not enjoy the advantages of such treatment.

In one embodiment, the adapter is configured to fit the back of the hand and it is recommended to have a conductive fluid between the adapter and the hand that will determine the correct connection between one and the other.

Although in its operation this embodiment is effective it presents some problem in the constitution of the adapter since the back of the hand differs in size and shape in each person so it is complex to get an adapter that fits correctly on the back of any hand, In addition, the back of the hand in its movement changes shape, so the adapter has to compensate for this variability in the shape of the back of the hand. In order to obtain a simple and more effective adapter than the one used on the back of the hand is constituted according to a plate that is arranged on the inner part of the forearm of the person carrying out the treatment; in this way, the application of the adapter to the indicated forearm is achieved in a simple and efficient way, thus also obtaining the most direct passage of the electric current from the adapter to the front of the hand acting as an active conductive body.

DESCRIPCIÓN DE LOS DIBUJOSSince in some cases the people who carry out the treatment, for example chiromassage, use both hands, it is planned to apply two adapters, one on each forearm, connected in the same electrotherapy device.
