Abstract

A method and system for registering complaints regarding unsolicited and unwanted telephonic communication more commonly known as SPIT or SPAM over internet telephony. It is not specific to any type of telephonic network and lists: VoIP, wireless, SS7, IN, AIN, private networks. The complaints can be registered during or after the caller has received an unwanted call using basic DTMF signalling using a service code e.g. *60 designated by the carrier.
