Abstract

A security band (10) has a lock assembly (12) and is mounted to an ATM (Automatic Telling Machine) (2) such that the band prevents access to the lock of the door (6) of the ATM and reinforces the housing of the ATM (2). The lock (12) is operable by remote signalling means and presents no obvious point of attack for persons attempting to gain unauthorised access to ATM (2).
