  • the temperature-responsive device 15 is secured to the external side of the peripheral portion of the supporting dish 3 by way of an arcuate mounting plate 21 which is formed with a pair of hooks which engage with the peripheral portion 11 of the supporting dish 3 and with at least one aperture for a threaded fastener 23.
  • the mounting plate 21 is dimensioned such that the lower edge thereof does not protrude below the peripheral portion of the supporting dish 3 and such that the upper edge thereof does not protrude above the upper edge of the peripheral portion 11 of the dish.
  • the upper surface of the shoulder 25 extends radially inwardly by a distance greater than the radial thickness of the peripheral wall 9, while the temperature probe 17 of the temperature-responsive device 15 is arranged at a level below the upper edge of the peripheral wall 9 by a distance greater than the height of the peripheral surface of the shoulder 25. That is, the radial extent of the shoulder 25 is greater than it would conventionally be.
  • Such an arrangement allows the heaters to be stacked with the peripheral surface of the shoulder 25 of an upper heater fitting within the peripheral wall 9 of a lower heater, and the upper surface of the shoulder 25 of the upper heater supported by an upper surface of the peripheral wall 9 of the lower heater, while the substantially planar base 13 of the upper heater is spaced above the temperature probe 17 of the lower heater.

Abstract

L'invention concerne une pluralité de dispositifs de chauffage électrique radiants qui sont empilés l'un sur l'autre.
