Abstract

A printer comprising: a central drum (4) having a first side and an opposite second side, and rotatable about a central axis, and a print cylinder (8) having a first side and an opposite second side and rotatable about a second axis spaced apart from and substantially parallel to the central axis, the print cylinder (8) comprising a gear mechanism (50) contained within a gear housing (54), which gear housing (54) is rotatably moveably attached to the printer, the printer further comprising a gear housing adjuster (62, 60) engageable with the gear housing (54) for causing rotational movement of the gear housing (54), thereby causing corresponding rotational movement of the print cylinder (8).
