Abstract

Die Erfindung beschreibt ein Verfahren zum Umwandeln einer Flüssigkeit (8) in einen gasförmigen Zustand für einen Schneidprozess mit einem Wasserdampf-Schneidgerät (1) , bestehend aus, einem Brenner (6), einem Verdampfer (25), einer Energieversorgung und einer Zuleitung (31) für eine Flüssigkeit (8) , wobei eine entsprechende Temperatur (27) für die Verdampfung der Flüssigkeit (8) erzeugt wird. Zur Schaffung eines derartigen Verfahrens ist nun vorgesehen, dass die Temperatur (27) im Betrieb derart geregelt wird, dass ein Sensor (28) die Temperatur (27) des Verdampfers (25) erfasst und an eine Regelung übermittelt, welche entsprechend ein Heizelement (24) mit der nötigen Energie versorgt und von welcher ein erforderlicher Druck (34) der in den Brenner (6) zugeführten Flüssigkeit (8) geregelt wird, so- dass für einen Schneidprozess eine annähernd konstante Temperatur (27) der verdampften Flüssigkeit (8) zur Verfügung gestellt wird.
