Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à un casque d'écoute doté d'un filtre séparateur actif (101). Le casque d'écoute selon l'invention est couplé à une source audio par l'intermédiaire d'une connexion soit filaire soit sans fil, ou à deux sources audio par l'intermédiaire de connexions à la fois filaire et sans fil. Le filtre séparateur actif (101), qui réalise un filtrage soit analogique (105) soit numérique (501), divise chaque canal du signal audio entrant en de multiples zones de fréquence. Si le casque d'écoute est couplé simultanément à deux sources audio, l'on fait de préférence appel à un contrôleur (405) pour déterminer si la première ou la seconde source audio est couplée au filtre séparateur actif (101). La sortie des filtres du filtre séparateur est amplifiée. L'on utilise de préférence un circuit de commande de gain (115) pour commander le gain des amplificateurs (107) et donc le volume produit par les pilotes (111-114). Une source d'alimentation (109) est couplée à l'amplificateur (107) et, si nécessaire, aux filtres du filtre séparateur.
