Abstract

The composition comprises a friction modifier, an anti-wear additive, an extreme pressure additive, and a surface fatigue life modifier. Also provided is a method for improving the performance characteristics of a lubricant, which process comprises the steps of mixing a lubricating base oil or a fully composed lubricant with the above-mentioned polyvalent lubricant additive composition.
