Es sind elektrisch betriebene Geräte zum Zubereiten von heißen Aufgussgetränken in Form von Teeautomaten bekannt, bei denen in drei übereinander angeordneten Behältern zunächst Frischwasser über eine integrierte Heizeinrichtung zum Kochen gebracht wird, woraufhin das erhitzte Wasser über ein Ventil in einen Ziehbehälter fließt, in welchem sich in einem Filtereinsatz Teeblätter befinden. Nach einer einstellbaren Ziehzeit kann ein bodenseitig des Ziehbehälters angeordnetes zeitgesteuertes Auslassventil geöffnet werden, über welches der fertige Tee in einen Auffangbehälter fließt, wobei der Auffangbehälter eine vorgewärmte Glaskanne ist, die auf einer Heizplatte steht (DE 102 01 883 A1). Das hat den Vorteil, dass eine übermäßige Erhitzung des Auffangbehälters über mehrere Minuten hinweg, das heißt während der Ziehzeit, unterbleibt, so dass die ersten Tropfen des Brühguts, die in den Auffangbehälter einfließen, nicht übermäßig erhitzt werden. Darüber hinaus wird verhindert, dass etwaige Flüssigkeitsreste in dem Auffangbehälter während der Ziehzeit durch Hitzeeinwirkung verdunsten. Unerwünschte Verdunstungen können dazu führen, dass eventuelle Bitterstoffe in dem Auffangbehälter zurückbleiben, die sich wiederum nachteilig auf den Geschmack des Aufgussgetränks auswirken können. All diese Nachteile können vermieden werden, wenn die Heizplatte ihre Heiz-Solltemperatur nicht vor dem Öffnen des Auslassventils erreicht. Das erhitzte Wasser fließt dann über eine Leitung 4 in einen Ziehbehälter 5 mit Filtereinsatz 6, in welchen zuvor z.B. Teeblätter eingebracht worden sind. Die Leitung 4 zwischen dem Frischwasserbehälter 2 und dem Ziehbehälter 5 ist in diesem Ausführungsbeispiel über ein Ventil 7 geschlossen, das von einem Steuermodul 8 geöffnet wird, wenn das Wasser kocht. Nachdem das Brühgut nach einer voreingestellten Ziehzeit fertig ist, fließt es über eine Leitung 9 in einen unterhalb des Ziehbehälters 5 angeordneten Auffangbehälter 10, der auf einer Heizplatte 11 steht. Die Heizplatte 11 wird über Mittel zum Einschalten 12, das heißt einen Schalter, aktiviert, der wiederum mit dem Steuermodul 8 verbunden ist.
