Abstract

L’invention concerne un dispositif de détection magnétique (10) comprenant deux fils d’excitation (11, 13) servant à générer des premier et deuxième champs magnétiques (B1, B2) dans des première et deuxième régions d’investigation (5a, 5b) respectives. Un détecteur (12) à magnétorésistance géante (GMR) disposé au milieu entre les fils d’excitation (11, 13) détecte les champs parasites (B') générés par des billes aimantées (2) qui s’associent dans l’une (5a) des régions d’investigation. Lorsque les fils d’excitation (11, 13) sont parcourus de courants (I1, 12) circulant en sens inverse, les composantes des premier et deuxième champs magnétiques (B1, B2) dans la direction de détection (D) du détecteur à GMR (12) se neutralisent dans ledit détecteur (12), en minimisant ainsi les interférences dues à la diaphonie. Une autre (5b) des régions d’investigation comprend une zone d’exclusion empêchant les billes aimantées (2) de s’y associer et donc de neutraliser de la même façon les champs parasites (B').
