Abstract

An electromechanical system is provided which is capable of preventing intrusion by any unauthorized client and stealing information from the host. This is achieved by assigning a set of secret digits to open a mechanical lock. The system has the facility to adjust the security level to any given situation and hence letting the user decide his required security. The operation of the system has a facility to understand an incoming data into the host system and it is also capable to decide whether the client trying to access the host is authorized or not. Based on this decision it can stop all unauthorized client access.

Description

FIELD OF THE INVENTION:
The present invention generally relates to an electromechanical system incorporating a mechanical firewall useful as a security lock. More particularly the present invention provides an electromechanical system useful for assigning a security level to an electronic means to prevent unauthorized access over a network.
The present invjntion provides a MEMS based chip comprising a mechanical firewall useful for assigning a security level to an electronic means to prevent unauthorized access over a network.
BACKGROUND ART:
In the recent past the Internet has made large amounts of information available to the average computer user at home, in business and in education. For many people, having access to this information is no longer just an advantage, it is essential. Yet connecting a private network to the Internet can expose critical or confidential data to malicious attack from anywhere in the world. Mechanical Firewall can protect both individual computers and corporate networks from hostile intrusion from the Internet. The basic purpose of a mechanical firewall is to keep uninvited guests from browsing your network. A mechanical firewall is a hardware device that is generally placed at the perimeter of the network to act as the gatekeeper for all incoming traffic.
Reference may be made to the US Publication No. 20060015472 Al Ahlander; John Lyman; (Orem, UT); Valimaki, Mikko; (Orem, UT)); et al, wherein it has been disclosed that: - The present invention extends to methods, systems, computer program products, and data structures for filtering cached content based on embedded URLs. A computer system accesses a URL that corresponds to cached content. The computer system identifies an embedded URL included in the accessed URL. The embedded URL corresponds to a site that was accessed to retrieve the cached content. The computer system extracts the embedded URL from the accessed URL. The computer system determines if access to the cached content is to be allowed based on the embedded URL. Here it can be seen that, this system embeds URL 's into its database to prevent the unauthorized clients which is a tedious process, where as the present invention provides higher security as per userpre specified levels and also provides better user satisfaction.
Reference may be made to the US Publication No. 20050240992 Al Coley, Christopher D.; et al, wherein it has been disclosed that: - Methods and apparatus are disclosed for controlling access to a web server operating on an IP-compliant network. Disclosed embodiments include a network device disposed between the IP-compliant network and the web server and including at least one proxy agent configured to receive an access request from a user seeking to access the web server. The disclosed network device may then determine whether said user is authorized to access said web server, and make a connection if the user is so authorized. Here it can be seen that in this system the incoming port is verified using proxy agents, which validates, verifies and authenticates for unauthorized client access. However, nowhere it is mentioned that it can be applicable to bulk network and also limited number of proxy agent restricts it to a quantified network. Also, the security options are minimal when compared to the present invention.
