The inner case 120 has a hinge groove 125 at a side portion thereof and a locking groove 127 formed at another side portion opposite to the hinge groove 125, in which the hinge groove 125 has hinge holes 124 at both ends thereof. A second curved surface 129 is formed on a lateral portion of the inner case 120 to extend from the first curved surface 117 of the container 125. Here, when the first curved surface 117 of the container and the second curved surface 129 of the inner case 120 are combined with each other, they provide a configuration having a concave central portion and protruded upper and lower ends.
The inner cover 130 made of elastic synthetic resin has a disk-like configuration with its central
portion curved and protruded. The inner cover 130 has a support protrusion 131 protruded from the top edge thereof to engage with the first engagement protrusion 115. The support protrusion 131 is fixedly pressed into the container 110 to protrude into the central portion of the inner case 120. Here, the inner cover 130 is further provided with a dispensing member 133 for dispensing pasty makeup out of the container 110 in response to pressure applied by a user via the puff 160. Here, as shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, the dispensing member 133 has a pressing wing 133-1 of a hemispherical shape, which is folded downward from a central portion of the inner cover 130 and then folded upward. The dispensing member 133 also has a recess 133-2 with a crossed slit, formed in a central portion of the pressing wing 133-1.
Here, as shown in FIG. 9, a recess 133-2 is formed in an upper central portion of the dispensing member 133, and has a crossed slit in a central portion of its curved surface. A first engagement protrusion 133-3 extends vertically from the outer circumference of the curved surface of the recess 133-2. A pressing member 133-7 is also provided with a pressing wing 133-5 formed at the top end, a second engagement protrusion 133-4 formed at the bottom and a through-hole 133-6 extending through the second engagement protrusion 133-4 and the pressing wing 133-5. Here, the second engagement protrusion 133-4 is engaged with the first engagement protrusion 133-3. Alternatively, the dispensing member 133 may have
a dispensing hole 133-8 as shown in FIG. 10.
The sponge 140 has a shape corresponding to the inner cover 130, and is seated inside the support protrusion 131 of the inner cover 130 to prevent or suppress pasty makeup from being excessively dispensed.
As shown in FIG. 6, the outer cover case 150 is shaped as a disk with the central portion curved and protruded. The outer cover case 150 has a hinge protrusion 151 capable of hinging in the hinge groove 125 via a hinge 152, a locking protrusion 153 formed in a position opposite to the hinge protrusion 151 to engage into the locking groove 127 of the inner case 120 and a recess 155 formed in the bottom thereof to receive the puff 160. Now a detailed description will be given of the operation of the makeup case capable of storing pasty makeup with reference to FIGS. 1 to 10.
First, the pasty makeup is stored in the space of the container 110. Then, even after the makeup is consumed, the bottom of the container 110 curved downward causes the pasty makeup to always gather in the lower center only if the container 110 remains horizontal .
Then, the inner cover 130 is fixedly pressed into the container 110 with the support protrusion 131 of the inner cover 130 held by the first engagement protrusion 115 of the container 110.
Next, with the sponge 140 pressed onto the top surface of the inner cover 130, the second engagement protrusion 121 of the inner case 120, which is coupled
with the outer cover case 150 via the hinge 152, is threaded into the first engagement protrusion 115 of the container 110. The sponge 140 serves to prevent the makeup from leaking outside through the dispensing member 133 of the inner cover 130 in a case where the makeup case 110 is not kept horizontal, that is, the makeup case 110 is turned over or slanted.
Then, the puff 160 is seated onto the puff-seating protrusion 123 of the inner case 120, and the locking protrusion 153 of the outer cover case 150 is engaged into the locking groove 127 of the inner cover 130.
In this position, when a user opens the outer cover case 150 and taps or presses a central portion of the sponge 140 with the puff 160, the inner cover 130 is shifted allowing the dispensing member 133 to dispense the makeup out of the container 110.
As the dispensing member 133 is constructed of the hemispherical pressing wing 133-1 as shown in FIG. 8, the pressure from the puff 160 exerts force on the inner cover 130, generating a vacuum in the pressing wing 133-
1, which in turn pushes the makeup out of the container
110 through the slit of the recess 133-2. Even if a small amount of the makeup is left inside the container
110, pressing the inner cover 130 with the puff 160 causes the pressing wir.g 133-1 to contact the bottom of the container 110, generating vacuum pressure again inside the pressing wing 133-1 so that the makeup inside the pressing wing 133-1 is dispensed through the slit in the recess 133-2. As a result, a small portion of the makeup remaining on the bottom of the container 110 can
be dispensed out completely.
Where the dispensing member 133 is constructed of the pressing member 133-7 as shown in FIG. 9, it is possible to completely dispense the makeup even from the bottom of the container 110 with the pressing wing 133-5 of the pressing member 133-7 in the same fashion as above .
As the dispensing member 133 is constructed of the dispensing hole 133-4 as shown in FIG. 10, the deformation of the inner cover 130 generates vacuum pressure in the space 111 of the container 110 so that the makeup can be dispensed through the dispensing hole 133-4.
When the makeup is completely consumed, the makeup case can be disassembled in the reverse order of the above-mentioned assembling process. Then, makeup can be replenished into the container 110 and the makeup case can be re-assembled for use.
While this invention has been described in connection with what is presently considered to be the most practical and preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited to the disclosed embodiment and the drawings, but, on the contrary, it is intended to cover various modifications and variations within the spirit and scope of the appended claims .
