The present invention relates to a makeup case, and more particularly to a makeup case capable of storing gel type (pasty) makeup such that the pasty makeup can be stored in an easily portable makeup case and dispensed as much as desired by using a puff so as to be spread on a skin in case of necessity.
Background Art
In general, pasty makeup is filled into a tube which in turn is compressed manually to dispense a portion of the pasty makeup through a nozzle to the outside.
However, when compressed to dispense the pasty makeup, such a conventional tube is crushed and does not restore its original shape. This results in some drawbacks such as poor aesthetic appearance with a portion of makeup contents remaining inside the tube.
Furthermore, the makeup contents are not dispensed uniformly according to the quantity of the makeup or the compressing force. In addition, a user should squeeze the pasty makeup on their hand before applying onto the face, which causes more of the pasty makeup to be used than is necessary.
Moreover, the tube itself has an elongated shape and thus is too bulky to be carried in the hand.

Now a detailed description will be given of the operation of the makeup case capable of storing pasty makeup with reference to FIGS. 1 to 10.
First, the pasty makeup is stored in the space of the container 110. Then, even after the makeup is consumed, the bottom of the container 110 curved downward causes the pasty makeup to always gather in the lower center only if the container 110 remains horizontal .
Then, the inner cover 130 is fixedly pressed into the container 110 with the support protrusion 131 of the inner cover 130 held by the first engagement protrusion 115 of the container 110.
Next, with the sponge 140 pressed onto the top surface of the inner cover 130, the second engagement protrusion 121 of the inner case 120, which is coupled with the outer cover case 150 via the hinge 152, is threaded into the first engagement protrusion 115 of the container 110. The sponge 140 serves to prevent the makeup from leaking outside through the dispensing member 133 of the inner cover 130 in a case where the makeup case 110 is not kept horizontal, that is, the makeup case 110 is turned over or slanted.
Then, the puff 160 is seated onto the puff-seating protrusion 123 of the inner case 120, and the locking protrusion 153 of the outer cover case 150 is engaged into the locking groove 127 of the inner cover 130.
In this position, when a user opens the outer cover case 150 and taps or presses a central portion of the sponge 140 with the puff 160, the inner cover 130 is shifted allowing the dispensing member 133 to dispense the makeup out of the container 110.
As the dispensing member 133 is constructed of the hemispherical pressing wing 133-1 as shown in FIG. 8, the pressure from the puff 160 exerts force on the inner cover 130, generating a vacuum in the pressing wing 133-
1, which in turn pushes the makeup out of the container
110 through the slit of the recess 133-2. Even if a small amount of the makeup is left inside the container
110, pressing the inner cover 130 with the puff 160 causes the pressing wir.g 133-1 to contact the bottom of the container 110, generating vacuum pressure again inside the pressing wing 133-1 so that the makeup inside the pressing wing 133-1 is dispensed through the slit in the recess 133-2. As a result, a small portion of the makeup remaining on the bottom of the container 110 can be dispensed out completely.
Where the dispensing member 133 is constructed of the pressing member 133-7 as shown in FIG. 9, it is possible to completely dispense the makeup even from the bottom of the container 110 with the pressing wing 133-5 of the pressing member 133-7 in the same fashion as above .
As the dispensing member 133 is constructed of the dispensing hole 133-4 as shown in FIG. 10, the deformation of the inner cover 130 generates vacuum pressure in the space 111 of the container 110 so that the makeup can be dispensed through the dispensing hole 133-4.
When the makeup is completely consumed, the makeup case can be disassembled in the reverse order of the above-mentioned assembling process. Then, makeup can be replenished into the container 110 and the makeup case can be re-assembled for use.
While this invention has been described in connection with what is presently considered to be the most practical and preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited to the disclosed embodiment and the drawings, but, on the contrary, it is intended to cover various modifications and variations within the spirit and scope of the appended claims .
