Beschreibungdescription
Haltevorrichtung für den Kopf eines PatientenHolding device for the head of a patient
The invention relates to a holding device for the head of a patient with a mounted on a patient support table, the head receiving head shell.
In DE 86 19 834 Ul a device for supporting a patient is described in which a receiving the upper body of the patient's shell is inserted by means of insertion tabs in slots, which are provided on the surface of Patien ¬ tenlagerungstisches. Furthermore, the holding ¬ tion is provided with stiffening sections. Both the input plug tabs and the stiffening sections each generate ¬ but in the neck area of a patient very distinct shadow on the radiograph, which are felt for example by neurologists to be very disturbing.
The invention is based on the object to provide a holder of the aforementioned type, which has a stable structure and no X-ray shadow in the area of interest of the X-ray image throws.
Die Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, dass eineThe object is achieved in that a
Holder is provided, which is laterally attached to the table Tischlagerungs¬ and holds the head shell in its side region. This ensures that the holder is not in the patient's penetrating beam path.
It has proved to be advantageous if the holder is adapted to the shape of the patient support table, wherein the holder S-shaped, for example, as a long drawn S can be bent. A secure attachment is obtained, if the associated bracket of the mounting part of the shape of the curved head saddle ¬ le adjusted and is directed upwards.
Advantageously, the holder may consist of a carbon fiber material and the head shell of polyethylene.
Es zei- gen:The invention is explained in more detail with reference to embodiments shown in the drawing. Show it:
Figur 1 eine Aufsicht auf einen Patientenlagerungstisch mit erfindungsgemäßer Halterung,1 shows a plan view of a patient support table with inventive holder,
Figur 2 eine Seitenansicht eines Patientenlagerungstisch mit erfindungsgemäßer Halterung undFigure 2 is a side view of a patient support table with inventive holder and
Figur 3 eine Aufsicht auf die erfindungsgemäße Halterung.Figure 3 is a plan view of the holder according to the invention.
A holder 3 is attached laterally to the patient support table 1, which holder is bent substantially S-shaped in plan view. It leads on to the outer wall of Patientenlagerungsti- MOORISH one over and an extension of the outer wall of the kopfsei ¬ term end. 2 At its end, the holder 3, as shown in Figure 2, bent to a fastening part 4 upwards, wherein on this fastening part 4, a head ¬ shell 5 is attached with its side region. This is also the figure 3, in which a view of the head end 2 of the patient support table 1 is shown.
The holder 3 can be fastened to the patient table 1 by means of screws or other fastening means. However, it can be inserted into a laterally ¬ also attached to the patient positioning table 1, not shown, rail and to be locked by locking means. The head shell 5 can be glued to the shape of the head shell 5 adapted Befesti¬ supply part 4.
The head shell 5 can, for example, consist of polyethylene, which has been brought into the mold by heating. Da¬ in the fastening part 4 can be incorporated with the same in the head shell 5. However, it can also be provided on the Kopf¬ shell 5, a slot into which the Befesti¬ supply part 4 of the holder 3 engages.
The holder 3 may for example consist of a carbon fiber material, which has only a slight shadow effect and is sufficiently stable.
By the lateral attachment of the holder 3 both on Pa¬ tientenlagerungstisch 1 and on the head shell 5 shadows in the X-ray image are avoided. Furthermore, since the Kopfscha¬ le 5 consists of few parts, it is easy to produce.
