Cette invention concerne un dispositif cosmétique (1) qui peut être avantageusement mais pas exclusivement utilisé dans des traitements pédicures et/ou manucures et qui comprend une pièce à main (2) dont une partie constitue une zone de prise (2a) et une unité (4) servant à bloquer un instrument (500) en place. Cette unité de verrouillage (4) comprend une première mâchoire (5) et une seconde mâchoire (6) entre lesquelles l'instrument (500) est inséré, lesquelles mâchoires (5, 6) sont habituellement maintenues fermées par un élément élastique (7).
