Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Brennkraftmaschine mit Druckumlaufschmierung nach dem Trockensumpf - Prinzip, insbesondere für einen Boxermotor, mit einem Motorgehäuse, in dem im unteren Teil ein Ölabsaugraum (Trockensumpf) ausgebildet ist, aus dem das Schmieröl über eine mit einer Ölabsaugleitung versehene Ölrückförderpumpe zu einem Ölvorratsbehälter (Nasssumpf) gefördert wird, während das im Ölvorratsbehälter bzw. im Ölvorratsraum befindliche Schmieröl über eine Hauptförderpumpe zu den Verbrauchern geführt ist. Es wird vorgeschlagen, dass ein um die Zylinder angeordneter Ringraum (32, 34) als Teil der Ölrückführung zum Ölvorratsbehälter (16, 18) vorgesehen ist.
