Abstract

L'invention concerne une méthode et un appareil destinés à réduire la régurgitation mitrale. Cet appareil est inséré dans le sinus coronaire d'un patient au voisinage du feuillet postérieur de la valvule mitrale, et permet de redresser l'incurvation naturelle d'une partie au moins du sinus coronaire au voisinage du feuillet postérieur de la valvule mitrale, ce qui permet de déplacer l'anneau postérieur par voie antérieure et, donc, d'améliorer la coaptation et de réduire la régurgitation mitrale. Ledit appareil est également conçu pour fonctionner conjointement avec un conducteur électrique pour un dispositif de stimulation biventriculaire implantable, un conducteur électrique pour un défibrillateur cardiaque, etc.
