Description

CUBIERTA PARA SOPORTE INFORMÁTICO D E S C R I P C I Ó N COVER FOR COMPUTER SUPPORT D E S C R I P C I Ó N

En el caso de la figura 5, la pared perimetral 18 es común para ambas carasThe present invention aims at a cover for computer support, specifically one that is applicable to computer media such as CDs and DVDs, both in all its variants of recording and / or technological, musical and / or re-recording audiovisual. At present, such computer supports, both virgin and engraved, are usually sold inside a protective case constituted, in most cases, by two hinged pieces of plastic, of which one constitutes the base, which includes a practicable retention means for the computer support, and the other the cover, the first being normally opaque and the second transparent. In other cases, especially when it comes to computer media such as recorded DVDs, such as those that collect cinematographic films, protective cases are more bulky because they include a cardboard envelope organized as a box. In both cases, the protective case has drawbacks in terms of the volume occupied in its particular storage and the cost of production, the latter being relevant when establishing the sale price of the product. In order to make the protective case cheaper, they have been using mere cardboard cases configured as covers or envelopes without closing. These simplified protective cases also cover both sides of the support, but suffer from the disadvantage that they are not very resistant to continued use, accidental contact with liquids, rubbing, that the inlet mouth remains semi-open allowing the entry of dust, etc. In order to have economical and effective protective means for such computer media, the solution to exclusively protect the engraved face and edge of the computer media has been adopted. In accordance with the above solution, the cover for computer support which is the object of the present invention, which consists of in a flexible elastic disk piece that, presenting, on at least one of its two faces, a perimeter wall of reduced height, constitutes a housing for the computer support, and has practicable retention means of said computer support. Characteristics of the invention, considered in isolation or in combination, consist in that the retention means practicable of the computer support are constituted by configuration of the inner face of the perimeter wall, said configuration being able to consist, preferably, in a slight taper. of the inner face of said wall or a slight stop arrangement provided in said inner face of the perimeter wall, be it cylindrical or conical shaped. Another feature of the invention, which does not exclude any of the features set forth above with which it can enter in combination, is that the discoidal piece comprises, as practicable retention means of the computer support, an elastic arrangement that emerges centrally from the face of said discoidal piece that is flanked by the perimeter wall and is related to said computer support through the central hole of which such computer supports are conventionally provided. In this case the elastic arrangement, which constitutes the practicable retention means of the computer support, is one of the radial type that retains said computer support by automatic centrifugal expansion and releases it by centripetal contraction determined by voluntary pressing in the axial direction. Another feature of the invention is the fact that the discoidal part has a perimeter wall and retention means on both sides, whereby it is possible to simultaneously protect two computer supports in a single discoidal piece. It is envisaged in this case that the retention means, on at least one of the faces of the discoidal piece, are false thereto, or that such retention means, constituting a single piece or two pieces, are false to the discoidal piece. The invention contemplates the fact that two discoidal pieces can stand in solidarity with their face devoid of perimeter wall. Also, the invention comprises that the outer face of the discoidal piece has large areas of rough surface surrounded by smooth strips that in some cases are radial and in others circumferential; which has recesses, diametrically opposed, in the perimeter wall, through which the edge of the computer support is reached; and that the discoidal piece has in its center an annular area highlighted for the direct seat of the non-sensitive center of the recorded face of the computer support and to allow the cantilever arrangement of the rest thereof. To facilitate the understanding of the foregoing ideas, preferred embodiments of the invention are described below, with reference to the accompanying illustrative drawings. In the drawings: Figure 1, represents, on the upper floor, a cover for computer support in which the perimeter wall and central retention means can be seen. Figure 2 represents, on the lower floor, the cover for computer support in which there are spaces for the insertion of labels identifying the content of the computer support. Figure 3 represents a diametral section along the line lll-lll of Figure 1. Figure 4 represents, in diametral section, a portion larger than a radial portion of a cover according to the invention, in which the retention means are determined by the conical configuration of the perimeter wall. Figure 5, similarly to the case of the previous signature, represents a larger portion of a single piece cover, according to the invention, which has two perimeter walls with their retaining means by taper. Figure 6, represents, in section, an extreme portion showing the case of association by two single roofs as shown in Figures 1 to 3 and which could also be that of Figure 4. Figure 7, represents, in diametral section, an end portion of a cover like that of figures 3 and 4 in which the retaining means consist of a stop arrangement located on the inner face of the perimeter wall. Figures 8 to 11, represent, in section, a central portion of discoidal pieces intended to simultaneously constitute the cover for two computer media according to various ways of arranging the retention means at their center. Figures 1 to 3 illustrate a cover for computer support of the type of CDs and DVDs which, according to one embodiment, is constituted by a discoidal piece 1 of preferably flexible and elastic material, which on one of its faces, designated as upper face 2, it has a perimeter wall 3, while its other face, designated as lower face 4, is substantially smooth, presenting, potentially, smooth areas, in perimeter arrangement-5, radius-6 -and central ring- 7, and rough areas 8, interspersed between the previous ones, which are intended to place identifying labels. The discoidal part 1 has, conventionally in the center of its upper face 2, retention means of the computer support 9 consisting of an elastic arrangement 10 of substantially cylindrical configuration of reduced height. This elastic arrangement 10 emerges from a highlighted annular zone 11 that serves as the seat of the non-sensitive central part of the recorded face of the computer support 9 and allows the rest of it to remain cantilevered without coming into contact with said upper face 2 or, at most, be supported by a slight perimeter area on a thin rib 12. The elastic arrangement 10 is constituted by a plurality of teeth, partly initially rectilinear 13A, according to the generatrix of the cylindrical configuration of the elastic arrangement 10, and partly terminated in a cantilever radial bend 13B, so that it retains the computer support, tightly through its central hole, by automatic elastic expansion in the centrifugal direction and releases it by elastic contraction in the centripetal direction determined by a voluntary axial pressing on radial bends 13B. Figure 4 shows retention means constituted by the configuration of the inner face of the perimeter wall 14 consisting in that it adopts a truncated conical configuration 15 that gently and firmly retains the computer support 9, which can be introduced or removed from the housing created between the upper face 2 of the disk piece 1A and said perimeter wall 14 thanks to the fact that said disk piece 1A is constituted by an elastically flexible plastic material, which allows a slight deformation of said perimeter wall 14 with the intention of facilitate the entry or exit of the computer support 9. In order to facilitate such operations it is provided that said perimeter wall 14 is of the thickness shown in strokes 16 in Figure 4 and / or has wide recesses 17, diametrically opposed, which allow access to the edge of the computer support 9. In the case of Figure 5, the perimeter wall 18 is common for both sides

In this embodiment, the retention means provided in the easing of Figure-4 have been adopted although those provided in the Figures 1 to 3. It is observed that in the discoidal parts 1A and 1B, double rings 19 are centrally arranged for the central seat of the computer support 9 and a centering bushing 20 that fits frictionlessly into the central hole of said computer support 9 and that it can be complemented with a fine perimeter rib 12 as the one arranged in the cases of figures 1 to 3. In the realization of a double support disk, such as that of figure 5, it is provided that the means of retention of the type of elastic arrangement 10 as illustrated in Figures 1 to 3 can form a single piece with the said disk piece 1 B which, as illustrated in Figure 8, configures the shoulder te 11 and a double elastic arrangement 21. In another case, represented in figure 9, the discoidal part 1 C has on one of its two faces an elastic arrangement 10, like that of figures 1 to 3, while in its other face is installed a false elastic arrangement 22 that is fixed thereto conventionally. According to another possibility, represented in FIG. 10, the discoidal part 1 D lacks retaining means formed in its molding, incorporating elastic arrangements 23A and 23B mutually coupled to each other, by conventional means of clipping, gluing, threading, etc., intercalating between them the said disk piece 1 D, thanks to the provision of a hole 24 therein, or directly and independently fixing it without mutual relationship, as illustrated in figure 11. As seen in figure 7, it is envisioned that the inner face of the marginal wall 4, in all cases, may have a retention arrangement of the computer support 9 constituted by a continuous or discontinuous rib 25. Finally, it should be noted that it has been foreseen, as illustrated in Figure 6, that two discoidal pieces 1 or 1A can be attached and fixedly supported by their side 3 by adhesion, clipping or other means to constitute a double cover equivalent to that of Figure 5.
