Dabei sind insbesondere die Schaufeln im heissen Eintrittsbereich des Turbinenrades belastet. Um der erhöhten Belastung gerecht zu werden, müssen die Schaufeln massiver gebaut werden. Werden zum Erreichen höherer Drehzahlen unter Zeitstandbelastung die Schaufeln jedoch verstärkt, so wirkt sich dies nachteilig auf das Berstverhalten aus.
