Abstract

Les inventions se rapportent au traitement de métaux par pression, et peuvent être utilisées pour le forgeage radial de billettes et d'ébauches. Le forgeage d'une ébauche chauffée, qui atteint un niveau de déformation compris entre 30 et 99 %, est effectué dans un ensemble de marteaux placés sur des supports se déplaçant de manière synchronisée. Le forgeage consiste à réduire, à acheminer et à tourner une ébauche, la profondeur de la réduction étant déterminée en fonction d'un rapport défini. Le procédé selon l'invention est mis en oeuvre sur un dispositif contenant des marteaux dont la surface de travail est formée de plusieurs plans, des supports de marteaux supérieur et inférieur dotés de surfaces de glissement inclinées, par rapport auxquelles se déplacent les surfaces de glissement inclinées du support de marteaux latéraux. Ces dernières sont reliées auxdits supports de marteaux supérieur et inférieur par l'intermédiaire de huit guides en forme de U. Les marteaux possèdent, sur leur section transversale, des segments de travail en forme de trapèzes équilatéraux. Les surfaces internes des guides en forme de U, qui forment une liaison de verrouillage, et les surfaces des supports de marteaux qu'elles entourent, sont disposées de manière à former un angle α compris entre 0 et 170 ° par rapport au plan fixant le guide sur le support de marteau. L'invention permet d'augmenter la qualité et la productivité du forgeage, et d'augmenter la résistance à l'usure de l'outillage utilisé.
