Abstract

La présente invention concerne un outil de serrage et/ou d'écartement comprenant: un barre de poussée ou de traction (7) à laquelle est fixée une mâchoire mobile (13); une mâchoire fixe (5); un mécanisme d'engrenage qui permet le mouvement de la mâchoire mobile (13) par déplacement de la barre de poussée ou traction (7) dans une direction de serrage ou d'écartement (5), vers la mâchoire fixe (5) ou à l'opposé de celle-ci, et l'application de forces de serrage et/ou d'écartement entre les mâchoires (5,13); et un élément de verrouillage qui bloque le déplacement de la barre de poussée ou traction (7) dans une direction d'ouverture (O) opposée à la direction de serrage ou d'écartement (5), afin de conserver les forces de serrage et/ou d'écartement produites entre les mâchoire (5,13). Selon l'invention, pour permettre la dégradation des forces de serrage et/ou d'écartement accumulées, un mécanisme permet un déplacement d'absorption de la barre de poussée ou traction (7) dans la direction d'ouverture (O) sur une trajectoire d'absorption prédéterminée, et bloque, en particulier de façon réversible, un déplacement d'absorption de la barre de poussée ou traction (7) dans la direction d'ouverture (O), hors de la trajectoire d'absorption prédéterminée.
