Description

CIRCULAR RUNNING MACHINE
Technical Field The present invention relates to a circular running machine, and more particularly to a circular running machine which enables a user to smoothly make a jogging or walking exercise without receiving any electric power, and which can be used semi-perpetually without trouble.
Background Art In general, a running machine is fabricated to allow a user to make a running exercise indoors when electric power is applied to a driving motor rotating a running belt. As shown in FIG. 1, a conventional electric power driven running machine is made to enable a user to make a walking or running exercise when a running belt 2 is rotated by a driving motor whose speed is adjusted. Thus, electric power should be primarily applied to make the running belt 2 rotate so as to allow a user to make a jogging exercise in a generally available electric power-driven running machine . As described above, the running belt 2 in the running machine should be successively rotated in order to allow a user to successively make an exercise. As a result, an electric power consumption is increased by a continuously applied electric power.
Disclosure of the Invention To solve the above problems, it is an object of the present invention to provide a circular running machine which enables a user to smoothly make a jogging or walking exercise without receiving any electric power, and which can be used semi-perpetually without trouble. To accomplish the above object of the present invention, according to the present invention, there is provided a circular running machine comprising: a bottom fixed plate; a circular rail that is fixed on the upper side of the bottom fixed plate and whose inner portion is opened; a circular rotating frame that is fitted with the circular rail so as to rotate along the inner portion of the circular rail; and a circular running belt that is formed to rotate at the state of being integrally combined with the inner portion of the circular rotating frame.
Brief Description of the Drawings The above and other objects and advantages of the present invention will become more apparent by describing the preferred embodiment thereof in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: FIG. 1 shows a conventional running machine; FIG. 2 shows a circular running machine according to the present invention; FIG. 3 is a side elevational view of the circular running machine according to the present invention; FIG. 4 is a sectional view of the circular running machine according to the present invention; FIG. 5 shows a brake in the circular running machine according to the present invention; and FIG. 6 shows a circular running machine according to a variation of the present invention.
Best Mode for Carrying out the Invention Hereinbelow, a circular running machine according to the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings . The circular running machine according to the present invention includes a bottom fixed plate 32 which can make the circular running machine fixed without moving on the floor. A circular rail 20 that is integrally fixed on the upper side of the bottom fixed plate 32 and whose inner portion is opened, is formed in the circular running machine according to the present invention . A circular rotating frame 30 is fitted with the circular rail 20 so as to rotate along the inner portion of the circular rail 20. A circular running belt 40 is formed to rotate at the state of being integrally combined with the inner portion of the circular rotating frame 30. Friction-preventive rollers 50A, 50B, and 50C are formed between the circular rail 20 and the circular rotating frame 30 so that the circular rotating frame 30 in the circular running machine smoothly rotates along the circumferential direction of the circular rail 20 without friction with each other. In the present invention, an electric generator 60 having an electric charger 62 is provided in which kinetic energy is converted into electric energy by rotation of the circular rotating frame 30. Also, the electric energy generated during rotation is electrically accumulated to be continuously used. FIG. 2 shows a circular running machine according to the present invention. FIG. 3 is a side elevational view of the circular running machine according to the present invention. FIG. 4 is a sectional view of the circular running machine according to the present invention. FIG. 5 shows a brake in the circular running machine according to the present invention. FIG. 6 shows a circular running machine according to a variation of the present invention. As shown in FIGs . 2 and 3, a circular running machine according to the present invention can obtain a rotational force without any electric power naturally during the time when a user walks or runs on the circular running machine. Also, an electric power source can be obtained by the rotational force. Here, the user can make an exercise of walking or jogging at a proper place on the inner portion of a circular running belt 40. The circular running belt 40 formed of a hollow wheel is naturally rotated by a user' s stepping operation when a user walks or runs on the inner portion thereof. That is, when a user steps on the circularly curved portions on the inner portion of the hollow wheel-shaped running belt 40, the circular running belt 40 is rotated downwards by the user's weight . The circular running belt 40 that is rotated by the user as described above is integrally fixed to a circular rotating frame 30 formed on the outer circumferential surface thereof, so as to be rotated in the form of a hollow wheel. Accordingly, the circular running belt 40 is rotated in the form of a hollow wheel without deforming a hollow wheel shape by the circular rotating frame 30. The circular rotating frame 30 is slid on the inner portion of a circular rail 20 and smoothly rotated at a state where the former is mounted in the inner portion of the circular rail 20 on a bottom fixed plate 32. The circular rail 20 fixed on the bottom fixed plate 32 is enclosed by and fitted with the circular rotating frame 30, since the inner portion of the circular rail 20 is formed in an opened shape that is, in a hollow form along the circumferential portion thereof. The inner portion of the circular rail 20 is formed of a U-shaped cross-section. That is, the circular rotating frame 30 is smoothly rotated along the inner portion of the circular rail 20 at the state where the inner portion of the circular rotating frame 30 is fitted with the inner portion of the circular rail 20 whose inner portion is opened. A fixed plate 32 is formed below and fixed to the circular rail 20 so that the circular rotating frame 30 is rotated without joggling. The fixed plate 32 is widely supported and fixed on the floor so that the circular running machine does not fall down during the time when a user makes a jogging exercise. Since the circular rail 20 is fixed to the predetermined points on the bottom fixed plate 32, the circular running belt 40 on the circular rotating frame 30 which is fitted and rotated with the inner portion of the circular rail 20 is not sagged at the central portion where a user steps on the rotating circular running belt 40. That is, since the outer portion of the circular running belt 40 is integrally fixed with the left and right portions of the circular rotating frame 30, the circular running belt 40 does not narrow in the central thickness direction of the circular rail 20. As described above, since the circular rotating frame 30 is fixed with both sides of the circular rail 20, the central portion where a user steps on the circular running belt 40 does not sag although the user steps on the bottom portion of the circular running belt 40 to run or walk thereon. That is, the circular running belt 40 is rotated at the state where the circular rotating frame 30 is fitted with the circular rail 20 fixed on the bottom fixed plate 32 at the both sides of the outer portion of the circular running belt 40. As a result, the circular running belt 40 does not deform but rotate in a circular form. Thus, when a user walks or runs on the circular running belt 40 which is rotatably fitted with the circular rail 20, in order to make an exercise, the circular running belt 40 is naturally rotated to go round and round as if a squirrel turned a hollow wheel. Also, since the circular running belt 40 is circularly formed toward the user's exercise direction when viewed from the front side of the circular running machine, the circular rotating frame 30 is rotated along the circular rail 20 due to a naturally formed slope between the circular running belt 40 and a user's step. In addition, since the circular running machine according to the present invention is circularly formed, it allows a user to easily make a back-walk exercise. In the conventional running machine, a user should turn right round and then walk backwards in order to make a back-walk exercise. However, in the case of the circular running machine according to the present invention, a user can only walk backwards instead of walking forwards in his or her current position without turning right round, in order to make a back-walk exercise. That is, when a user walks backwards in the circular running machine according to the present invention, the circular running belt 40 is rotated reversely, to thereby have the user easily make a back-walk exercise. The circular running machine according to the present invention is designed to make the circular running belt 40 naturally rotating due to a user's walk or run thereon, electric charges need not be paid. Also, the circular running machine according to the present invention can be used under the no-electricity circumstances. Also, since a safety handle 45 which can allow a user to take hold of it and run safely is formed in the front or side portion thereof, the user can safely make an exercise. As shown in FIG. 4, friction-preventive rollers 50A, 50B, 50C, ... are formed between the circular rail 20 and the circular rotating frame 30 so that the circular rotating frame 30 can smoothly rotate without making any friction with the circular rail 20. Although the friction-preventive rollers 50A, 50B, 50C, ... are formed between the circular rail 20 and the circular rotating frame 30 which are fixed on the bottom fixed plate 32, bearings can replace the friction-preventive rollers. As described above, although the friction-preventive rollers 50A, 50B, 50C, ... are formed between the circular rail 20 and the circular rotating frame 30 at a predetermined interval along the circumferential direction, friction noise can be prevented during rotation of the circular rotating frame 30. In addition, the circular running belt 40 can smoothly rotate during rotation of the circular rotating frame 30. The circular running machine according to the present invention is further provided with an electric generator 60 which can generate an electric power due to rotation of the circular running belt 40. Also, an electric charger 62 is also installed in the circular running machine according to the present invention . Accordingly, as shown in FIG. 2, a liquid crystal display board 41 can be mounted and used on the safety handle 45 when the electric generator 60 and the electric charger 62 are used. The electric generator 60 is generally available in the market, which can be designed so that a roller contacts the rotational surface of the circular rotating frame 30 and rotates together with the circular rotating frame 30. A rotational force generated by rotation of the circular running belt 40 during making an exercise is converted into an electric energy by using the electric generator 60, and the electric energy is accumulated in the charger 62 so as to be effectively used in other electrically operating portions of the circular running machine. The inner portion of the circular running belt 40 in the present invention is formed of unevenness portions so that a user cannot slip during jogging. Thus, users can be prevented from falling down due to the slip during using the circular running machine. The unevenness portions can be formed of a stripe or dot pattern so as to prevent any slip or apply a pressure to the sole of the foot. Also, the circular rotating frame 30 and the circular rail 20 can be divided and fabricated into two, three, four or more sections along the circumferential direction, so as to make a user easily install and move the circular running machine. As shown in FIG. 5, a safety ring 70 can be provided in the upper-front portion of the circular running machine as a safety device. When a user takes hold of and pulls the safety ring 70 formed in the upper-front portion of the circular running machine, springs 74 are depressed so that friction plates 72 are pulled and contact on the outer portion of the circular rotating frame 30 to thereby reduce the rotational speed of the circular rotating frame 30, in which the safety ring 70, the springs 74, and the friction plates 72 form a brake device. Also, although it has not been shown, a device of pushing and tightening the surface of the circular rotating frame 30 can be provided in order to adjust rotation of the circular running belt 40 quickly or slowly, to thereby allow a user to enjoy making an exercise while adjusting the rotating speed of the circular running machine at his or her taste. As shown in FIG. 6, a number of hangers 22 are formed on the circumferential portion of the circular rail 20 in the circular running machine according to the present invention. Accordingly, a weight 60 is hung on the other portion of each hanger 22 so that a user can pull one portion of the hanger 60 in order to make a muscle exercise of the arm. Besides, general health equipment can be assembled in modules with one side of the circular running machine of the present invention. Accordingly, multi-functional health equipment 50 can be provided so as to make a user uniformly exercise the whole body such as the hands, legs, and waist. Industrial Applicability As described above, the circular running machine according to the present invention provides an effect of making a user making a jogging exercise without receiving any electric power. Since the circular running machine according to the present invention generates a rotational force according to a user's jogging speed without using any electric power source, it can be used semi-perpetually without trouble, to thus be free from a maintenance fee. Also, electric power can be generated by using the rotational force of the circular running machine, which can operate electrically driven devices and liquid displays which can display speed, calory consumption, and so on.
