Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un papier décoratif couché au pigment. A cet effet, on applique une sauce de couchage aqueuse, renfermant un pigment blanc, en particulier du dioxyde de titane, sur un papier brut de couchage, rempli éventuellement de pigments, sans contact, suivant le procédé de couchage par voile. Le grammage du papier brut de couchage est compris entre 28 et 65 g/m<2>. La sauce de couchage aqueuse appliquée présente une teneur en matière sèche d'environ 30 à 75 % en poids. Après application de la sauce de couchage aqueuse, on sèche de la façon habituelle. L'invention concerne en outre l'utilisation avantageuse du produit obtenu suivant le procédé précité pour la décoration de matériaux de revêtement. Le procédé selon l'invention est d'une mise en oeuvre économique et conduit à l'obtention d'un produit avantageux.
