Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un système de commande permettant de régler l'épaisseur d'une bande continue de matière fibreuse dans le sens machine, lorsque la feuille continue (W) devant être calandrée passe à travers un ensemble de rouleaux (10, 11) dans la calandre (5) d'une machine de production de bandes de matière fibreuse, cet ensemble de rouleaux comprenant une ou plusieurs lignes de pincement (N) entre les rouleaux. Dans le système et le procédé décrits, les valeurs de réglage des températures de la surface des rouleaux refroidisseurs (10) et les charges spécifiques dans les lignes de pincement entre les rouleaux sont calculées à l'aide d'un modèle de compression de la bande de matière fibreuse, permettant de sélectionner et de régler la compression.
