Definitions
- the invention concerns the flood barriers, which form setting up system restraining the water penetration into buildings and protected territory.
- the solution concerns the areas of constructions or equipments contributing to the protection of rivers and coasts.
- flood barriers consist of containers, omega sections or vertically cut tubular sections.
- mentioned solution does not include horizontally alternately interconnected modules, which would be reinforced by shaping and prestressed and together bound simultaneously.
- the invention DEI 9807141 presents another solution, in which modules are constructed under application of shape strengthening with distributed stress state. Quite different solution of protection wall including its construction is a matter of this invention.
- the flood barrier according designed solution consists of modules being pilled up one over one in horizontal array.
- the principle of invention consists of a solution suggesting that the barrier is formed of prestressed modules having a chamber structure and are manufactured of corrosion resistant materials.
- Each module is composed of thin walled profiles which are strengthened by use of shaping.
- the sections are so interconnected and form safety buffer.
- Modules being assembled in the barrier are vertically arranged and sealed up mutually.
- the barriers are anchored due to an application of stabilising support to the surrounding surface. Anchoring of a barrier to the surrounding surface using the hinged mounting of stabilising supports represents a very beneficial solution.
- Modules are horizontally arranged and sealed mutually by means of self-locking support. Connections are located intermittently among horizontal barrier arrays and form long-distance unlimited barriers. Barrier structure flexibility and its impact resistance represent an advantage of solution according to the invention. Further advantage is unit construction system, simple and speedy assembly of standard elements without application mechanisation means.
- the achieved variability of stabilising supports being hinged mounting and stabilised make possible a levelling process of potential barrier inclination.
- Fig.l prestressed module composed of profiles is illustrated.
- Fig. 2 is situated the self locking joint situated among modules.
- Fig. 3 is presented the hinged seating of stabilising support in partial detail illustration
- the flood barrier was produced consisting of prestressed modules 4 being pilled up one over one in five arrays as could be seen in Fig.3.
- the barrier is in distance edges anchored in ending columns.
- Prestressed modules 4 are manufactured of corrosion resistant steel.
- Each module 4 is composed of three thin-walled sections l_(see Fig.l).
- Strength of module 4 is increased due to thin walled section l_shaping.
- the sections 1 are so shaped that modules 4 could be bound together by vertical barrier assembly.
- the modules 4 are sealed together by application of self locking joints 2.
- the self locking joints are not placed one over one in single horizontal module arrays, however they are distributed in single arrays using alternating mode.
- Flood barriers are anchored by application of stabilising support 3 to the terrain surface. Barriers are bound in hinged arrangement to the terrain using anchoring slot or channel, see Fig.3. Barriers are bound to the stabilising support 3 by means of clips.
- the modules 4 were manufactured as in example 1 and afterwards the modules were bound in horizontal direction and sealed using rubber or another formable sealing material and or by application of hydraulic or pneumatic method.
- Barriers are anchored by means of stabilising supports 3 being set into concrete in surrounding terrain or bolted on, anchored on "bayonet", by means of locking mechanism. Barriers could be manufactured with benefit of stainless material but could be also manufactured of structural steel using subsequent surface coating. Another type of acceptable materials for barrier manufacture are s c water resistant materials.
