Abstract

L'invention concerne une veste d'élongation sacro-lombaire conçue pour des professionnels de l'exercice (physiothérapeutes), fournissant une alternative plus confortable à la traction de la région lombaire (décompression vertébrale) et pouvant être utilisée à différents niveaux, de façon très pratique et fonctionnelle, en fonction de l'expérience du thérapeute. Cette veste (1) comporte des courroies transversales (2) situées au niveau qui serait normalement occupé par des boutons, est pourvue d'anneaux (3, 4) sur les épaules et est, en pratique, ceinturée sur le patient (au niveau de la région abdomino-thoracique) et suspendue par les anneaux au moyen d'éléments de levage (5), de courroies ou de chaînes passées sur une barre (6) ou de crochets fixés au plafond, selon le choix du thérapeute, en plus d'une barre (8) située au niveau thoracique et soutenue par des éléments de levage fixes sur la barre transversale (6), ce qui permet d'accroître la stabilité du corps du patient et la correction de l'exécution des exercices pratiqués au niveau des bras et des jambes. Ceci permet au patient de rester en suspension orthostatique par l'intermédiaire de la veste et d'exercer une traction lombaire sous l'effet de la force de gravité de son poids. Il est possible d'ajouter des poids supplémentaires aux deux chevilles dans le but d'optimiser la traction.
