Abstract

A carton and a blank for forming a carton for packaging an article for example a sachet, the carton comprising opposed top and base walls (158, 122) interconnected by first and second side walls (160, 116) so as to form a tubular structure. An aperture (172, 174) is struck from the top wall (158) so as to receive a protruding portion of the article (A) wherein the aperture (172, 174) extends into a panel (156) adjacent the top wall (158) so as to facilitate the folding of the top wall (158) over the protruding portion during construction of the carton.
